The Swan danish-czhech puppettheater saw the light of day for the first time in 1993 and has since appeared in schools, kindergartens, libraries, cultural and assembly houses, churches and theaters across the country as well as at theater festivals: Children's Theater Festival, Horsens Children's Theater Festival, Silkeborg International Puppet Theater Festival, Helsingør Family Theater Festival, Puppet Theater Festival in Skørping, Fredericia Puppet Theater Festival, International Puppet Festival in Svaneke on Bornholm, International Theater Festival European Regions in Hradec Králové (Czech Republic), International Street Theater Festival Immortal Clowns in Prague (Czech Republic) and "European Fairy Tale Festival" Essen (Germany). In addition, we have been invited by the Danish Embassy in Canada to represent Denmark at the Winterlude 2000 Winter Festival in Ottawa (Canada) and in October 2007, in connection with Queen Margrethe's and Prince Henry's state visit, we performed at The world puppet festival during Gyeongju world culture expo 2007 in south korea. And in May 2015 we played at the “International Kinder- und Jugendbuchwochen” in Cologne, Germany and in September 2015 we played the “Puppet Player” at the Danish Embassy in Berlin, Germany, in conjunction with the Nordic Cultural Festival 2015. This was made possible by the Cultural Secretariat. in the Municipality of Odense as part of a partnership between the Embassy in Berlin in connection with the celebration of Carl Nielsen's 150th birthday.
